Training: SIGNALING FROM BODY TO BRAIN

June 27 @ 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

Fostering Communication Between Body & Brain to Improve Neurodevelopmental Disorders in Young Children

Trainer: Dr. Abbie Ballard

Sponsored by Child & Family Connections #19 & the Macon County Mental Health Board

Cost: In lieu of charging a fee, the instructor is accepting donations to Reece’s Rainbow, a special needs adoption advocacy group (www.reecesrainbow.org)

Dr. Abbie Ballard is a family and wellness-based chiropractor with special interest in helping children with neurodevelopmental disorders. She will explain physiological events which contribute to the development of a “disconnected” body and brain. Learn how disconnection develops, how to harness the power of neuroplasticity, and balancing vagal tone to improve effectiveness of therapeutic interventions. Dr. Ballard will talk about how to reconnect “disconnected” young children and how to restore and reconnect neurologically, improve physiological function, and facilitate correction of the underlying mechanism delaying a child’s typical development.

To register, contact Tammy Robinson at CFC #19 at (217) 853-2904 or trobinson@mcmhb.com.
