Operations Specialist

The Macon County Mental Health Board is seeking a full-time Operations Specialist. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with strong project management skills and maintenance experience.

The Operations Specialist is responsible for the coordination and maintenance of the facilities of the Macon County Mental Health Board, including the central office as well as the residential facilities of Woodford Homes, Inc., Camelot Supportive Housing, and Charles Street Supportive Housing. Previous maintenance and project management experience in addition to a willingness to learn new skills is a must. The ideal candidate must maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors, and fellow employees and be willing to perform a variety of tasks, including but not limited to caulking, painting, general cleaning, preventative maintenance, cleaning gutters, filter changes, lock repairs, drywall repairs, etc.

High school diploma required. Compensation commensurate with experience. Excellent benefits. Valid driver’s license, proof of automobile insurance, and reliable means of transportation is required. The selected candidate will be required to pass a background check.

Part-time Residential Maintenance Technician

The Macon County Mental Health Board is seeking a motivated individual with maintenance experience for the position of Residential Maintenance Technician. This is a part-time position responsible for assisting the Operations Specialist with the overall maintenance of all Woodford Homes, Camelot Supportive Housing, and Charles Street Supportive Housing properties. Previous maintenance experience and a willingness to learn new skills is a must.  The ideal candidate must maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors, and fellow employees and be willing to perform a variety of tasks, including but not limited to caulking, painting, general cleaning, preventative maintenance, cleaning gutters, filter changes, lock repairs, drywall repairs, etc. High school diploma is required.  Valid IL driver’s license, proof of automobile insurance, and reliable means of transportation is preferred.

Early Intervention Service Coordinator

The Macon County Mental Health Board is seeking a motivated, self-starting individual who enjoys interacting with young children and families for the position of Early Intervention Service Coordinator for Child & Family Connections #19. This is a full-time professional position providing service coordination/case management for children and their families within a ten-county service region. Experience in Service Coordination and Early Intervention or Early Childhood is preferred.  BS or BA in Child Development field required.  Must be thorough and organized and able to follow direction and comply with program directives. Computer experience required. Driving to client homes and travel to the Decatur office is required. Salary starts at $28,000 and will be commensurate with experience.  Excellent benefits. Valid IL driver’s license, proof of automobile insurance, and reliable means of transportation required.
